Atlantic City, New Jersey

Let's see, what can I say about Atlantic City, New Jersey?

Oh!  I know.  Donald Trump is a little richer because we stopped by.

In all honesty we didn't' see a lot of Atlantic City because we were only there a few hours because we were on our way to Wildwood, New Jersey.  We just stopped in Atlantic City to lighten our pockets a little.

Neither one of us are much for gambling, and Pam really thinks it's dumb.  I'm okay for about $200 before I start to think;  "This is really a dumb way to spend your time."  But anyway, we did get to see Atlantic City, the boardwalk, and some of the hotels.  Then we got out of town.  So really, I think we did get to see the most of Atlantic City.

But we do have a couple of Atlantic City photos we can share with you.

This is the Atlantic City Boardwalk.

The boardwalk is kind of fun, you can walk along the boardwalk and pop in and out of the different hotels and casinos.  I think we hit three different casinos in all.  The casinos are very nice inside and we did get good food before we got back on the road.

As you can imagine, there are quite a few panhandlers along the boardwalk, but some do attempt to entertain you as you pass by.  On the boardwalk there are these guys with gondola type chairs so you can hitch a ride if you're tired of walking.  You sit in the chair and they push you along by hand.  We passed on that.

Here we are on the boardwalk in Atlantic City.  If you look to the left of me you can see the Gondola Chair Ride sitting in the background.  That's what the yellow lines on the boardwalk are for.  That's their driving (pushing) lane.
